MicroPigments was created from a simple goal: to develop colour systems that permanent makeup artists can truly rely on.

Chanco Beauty is the next generation of Micro-Pigmentation Centre, a family owned and operated business that has championed the Permanent Makeup space for nearly three decades. But our story doesn’t end in PMU. It begins with it. And our journey has led to a natural extension of ourselves in the broader beauty industry.
Micro-Pigmentation Centre is still part of the family and powers everything we do at Chanco Beauty. We like to think of Micro as the cool mom of our industry, and Chanco is her daughter all grown-up, making her mark on the world.

Anybody who has ever taken a course at MPC knows we don't like to sugar coat things - to our students, to our clients, to our staff. We tell it like it is, so that there's no surprises after a procedure is done. That's also how we like to do business - fully transparent and by keeping it real. We've often been told we're an honorable company, and that makes us pretty proud. Because we choose to do business with like-minded people. We believe that being authentic goes a long way.

Micro is rarely the loudest voice in the room. We always root for the underdog and we never take our place in the industry for granted. We like to share, but not show-off. We prefer the quality of interactions over the quantity of them. We choose to play fair instead of play favourites. We pick the person over the profit. And we say sorry when we need to - we are Canadian, after all.

Every MicroMethod graduate leaves us with the highest standards, ethics, and hands-on experience possible.

Meet Pat
40 years ago, Pat fell for color. She started experimenting with her first pigments at home in her blender, and eventually opened a school in Toronto — one of the first dedicated to permanent makeup.
But if you've ever met Pat, you know her boundless energy and passion for this industry didn't stop there.
